Generally, leaning mirrors are at least 49″ tall, but ideally they would be at least 60″ tall so that an average height person could see their reflection.  If you are using it primarily for personal appearance, then be sure to choose the length that will best accommodate your height with a few added inches to accommodate for the lean against a wall.
